Homeowner Shoots and Kills Intruder

A would-be home invasion victim shot and killed an intruder in northwest Atlanta Thursday night, police said.Click here for the full story
The shooting happened shortly before midnight at a home on Abner Place.
Atlanta police spokeswoman Kim Jones told the AJC that arriving officers found a man with a gunshot wound to the chest.
"Officers were advised that the victim attempted to break into the home and the person at the home shot the intruder," Jones said.
